Expertise and Interests

Hayden Robinson Architect was founded in Seattle in 1998 and is guided by experience gained during more than 25 years of involvement in the construction industry. More than building types, we are interested in clients who are excited about their projects. Our goal is to create work that is energy efficient and environmentally responsible, unselfconsciously contemporary, cares about context, and is comfortable with history. We appreciate materials and craft and enjoy investigating the relationships between buildings and their sites, between indoors and out, and between the built, the cultivated, and the wild. We have special expertise in passive house high-performance, low-energy use buildings.
